Talk to IIO this morning

There was a lady picked up the line and she seems very tired. I was about to give her my case number and she cut in and told me whatever she can give is the same as I can read from BCIS website and there is no need for me to tell her my case detail.

Generally she told me that I need to wait to next month so that when my case reached 2 year limit ( from receipt date ), I can request a Service Center response.

I told her that I was given a internal request for case status back in Jun when the case processing time is about 21 months. She told me that the request never gone through since the processing interval has been increased and I have to wait another month before a new request can be issued.

What if next month they increase the length to 25 months?! We will never be able to send the case status request.

Calm down my friend. Look at it this way, even if they gave you the opportunity of an internal status request, they still can just send you a letter identical with the online message, right? I believe this happened to a lot of our members here.

But still hang in there, your D Day is coming.

zzbao,

Could you tell me which number you used to talk to the IIO? Is it the same number to report a change of address? I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

question for dravisha

can you please post the phone number for reporting change of address....

many thanks....

andy,

Sorry my question was not clear. Even I need that information. I need the number for informing the change of address. Can anyone help, please.
(The only number I have is (800) 375-5283, from the online status check site. I am not sure if this is the right one.)

(800) 375-5283 is the number I called, I don't know if there is another number for address change request.

Looks like these people at National Service Center are getting bored to repeat the same txt that people can get from BCIS Phone system or Website. Maybe they should join us to complain the stupid National Service call center solution and switch back to the older way. We are then all happy if the latter happens.
