Talk to IIO right now...March case

Finally I am able to speak with IIO this morning.He said:"we did receive your FP and your case is under review...you probabaly will hear something between 30 days and 60 days" Also, he said they are currently processing case as RD 03-15.

Any idea? why it will take another 30-60days to process my case? Mine RD 03-05 and ND 03-13-01.
 
Standard statement.

I have seen a lot of people on this board who said that they spoke to IIO and were told to wait 30 to 60 days for processing but heard that they were approved the next day on the VM. So I think it just something they say to avoid getting too many phone calls.

I also spoke to an officer few days back and was told that my case has been assigned and it will take up to 45 days to get an answer however I call the VM everynight to check.

Looks like the IIO supplied you a very standardizing answer like I got last month. I am sure you will hear yours any time very shortly, \'coz your case has been assigned to an officer ( which is \'under review\').

IIO refused to tell me when my case was assigned to an officer...anyway I check avm every night...
 
LU CAI - It truely depends on your I-140 type.

Was it for CP and than you applied for AOS? If this is the case than you have to wait little more.
