Taking the help from Senator/Congressman

Hi Friends,

I would like to contact the local senator or congressman regarding my case. I already completed 21 months after i concurrently filed I140 and 485. What is the procedure i need to follow.

Please shed the light please.

mine is a oct 2002 case which got approved last week.
i had written a letter to my local congress man( search for "find local congress man,a .gov web address which i don't remember off hand will come up,put in ur zip code and it will tell u who ur local congress man is .
i can e-mail u a draft of of the letter i wrote if u can provide me ur e-mail address.

wonderful boy: Since the current processing time is still in June, 2002, how can we contact senator? ic

My Immigration Specialist, Cynthia Alicea, contacted U.S.C.I.S. on your behalf. She was advised that your Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (Form I-485) (EAC-xxx-xxxx-xxxxxxx) is pending standard security clearance. Unfortunately, U.S.C.I.S. cannot estimate when this processing will be completed. If you do not receive further notification within approximately 3 to 6 months, please contact my Newark office and we will conduct a second inquiry on your behalf.
