Taking Infant and Toddler to the Interview

I have received my citizenship Interview Date for July 6th at San Jose, CA. By that time, I will have a 1 month old and 3 year old to handle.

Question: Can I take my kids to the Interview or atleast the Infant ?
Does anyone have any experience on this ?

Thanks...

I do not necessarily have experience on this but I can tell what I have seen. Last time I was at the immigration office, the officer was mad at one of the couple because their kid was crying and so the dad of the kid got mad and things like calling 911 happened..... This was an extreme I guess...but thing I have seen.

Hi there!

I would suggest you make alternative arrangements for that day - the obvious: day care, grand-parents, friends etc. etc. I would think with two little ones to handle, neither you nor the officer could focus on the interview at hand.

For your piece of mind I'd look for a daycare. Usually you can drop of your kids at a nice, safe place for $20 per half day. I saw a woman though with an infant at our interview day and the baby was happy and quiet ... there was no problem whatsoever.
