Taking a second job after GC approval

Howdy green card holders.

I've seen all the hue and cry about changing employers after GC approval. But never seen anyone ask if its ok to take a second job (part time) after GC approval. I have been working for my GC sponsor for a long time now and I intend to do so for the foreseeable future. Same goes for my employer (I hope so ) Would it be possible to take a part time job not anywhere related to my LC, like flipping burgers, in addition to the primary job?

Anyone done that before?

Sure. Not a problem. Except if your employment contract prohibits that without prior approval. A lot of contracts have such a clause, to prevent you from working for a competitor.
