The IIO Asked me for the A# instead of Receipt #.
Asked me did you call INS recently?, Last week or a week before . I replied that I have called last time INs on August to check whether I should renew my EAD.
She asked me , did you have any probelm in Renewing EAD ?
I said, I got the EAD without problems.
Then She put me on hold for a minute and told me the A# i gave was wrong, then I verified the A# and found she had my Wife A# instead of mine.
She said as per INS 485 processing report, they are processing 485 files upto Sep 15th and yours is Sep 24 and your file has been very recently assigned to an officer to review. You should be getting a decision very very soon.
B4 hang up she asked me to verify my home address.
It took 10 minutes of dialing time and 8 minutes of waiting to speak to an IIo.
