swithing from EAD to new H1

Hi All-

my status -
I40/485 have been concurrently filed for 10 months now. 140 is not yet approved. H1 expired and switched to EAD ,
however I used H1 only for 4 years. EAD is going to expire November end.

My question is : Is it possible for my company to get me a new H1 (instead of renewing EAD) ? I want to get a new H1 instead of re-newing EAD for personal reasons , ofcourse with out disturbing my 140/485.

All responses are more than welcome.
 
Yes you can get a new H1 without disturbing your GC processing. However, you MIGHT need to leave the country and come back.
 
Is the same thing possible with H4?

H4 expired in April '03.
EAD received - not used yet.

Current status AOS.

I have maintained H1.

Can my spouse and kid apply for renewal of H4 now and get stamped when in home country?
