Switching from Management Consultant to CSA

Hi

Just trying to understand and see if anyone has experience to share on this:

I have been working in MC category for the last 9 years (I got 3 TNs) under this category. However, recently I have completed MS in Information Systems (2 years Masters Degree) from US University. The degree I completed has modules covering systems analysis, design and little bit of systems architecture. I am trying to see for my next TN, I can try under CSA category. If I am offered a role as Computer Systems Analyst/Business Systems Analyst with proper job description/activities, can I try a new TN under CSA category?

Personally, for me, its a career switch - from consulting (advisory role) to a working role like CSA.

From degree/education perspective, do my Master Degree in MIS suffice/helps for CSA role?
From experience stand point, I did involve in bit of system analysis when we were advising clients on overall process and systems changes in the organization. Not sure, if experience counts in TN world

Any experience/inputs are appreciated.
