Hello Gurus,
My I-140 and 485 are filed concurrently and I have received RFE for ability to pay for my I-140. I filed for GC under EB2 and have confusion regarding switching to a new employer.
When can I actually switch to a new employer, after filing for I-140 and I-485 and its pending for >180 days or after I-140 approval and I-485 pending >180 days. I have already completed the 180 day period after filing I-140 and I-485.
Since my employer is desi and is paying me low salary, I want to move over to a new employer. What conditions should I meet in order to do this and what are the risks involved. I would like to change my employer only after the I-140 approval, but once I make the switch to a new employer will it trigger an RFE for the I-485.
Another question I had is, if I happen to continue with the same employer till I get my GC process completed, do I have to work for him for some time, I read this somewhere in one of the forums.
