I would appreciate if someone could give me advice on my situation:
Current Empolyer is filing EB3 PERM although I qualify for EB2. I'm 3 months away from the end of my 5th year of H-1B.
I would like to know:
1. If I switch now and the new employer files PERM EB2, would i be in time to get my 7th year H1-B extension as per the 365 day rule?
2. In general what would be safer to do - have my current employer file PERM and wait till I get approval or go ahead and switch now?
