The attorney wants us to give a wage for the job in order for him to fill out the request for the prevailing wage determination. I thought that the wage is determined by SWA. Then why are we to include a wage when requesting it? Am I missing something? What if the wage we give on the request for PWD is lower than their wage?

It would be best to wait until you get PWD to make sure wage stated on job order is >= PWD.

I am filing in NY. But my question is in the form to request PWD where employer gives info about company and requirements, there is a spot for wage offered. Must we include this wage or not? I thought the SWA provides the wage. Then why is there a spot for wage to be given by employer prior to request of PWD?
