Survey on interview date and the actual mail received.

Friends,

I am planning to go out of country. I am asking my friend to look for my mails and let me know the interview date. When I received by FP, if I was out of country, it would have been almost impossible to make it. I just got 3 days notice before FP date. I am not sure what is the lead time they give before attending interview.

I hear usually we get interview notice before 4-5 weeks. Anyone received a letter to attend the interview within a week or so?

Can you please share your experiences?

Mine was about two months. The letter was mailed to me on April 10, I reveiced it on April 15 and my interview was on June 8th.

I think it depends on your DO and their caseload. Yours might be sooner. From what I've read the average is 4-5 weeks.
