Surprise EAD in the mail

Just when I lost all my hopes.............got it in the mail today..

Online Status still gives "Your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION was received on November 25, 2002." (As of 7:33 PM today)


EAD was to expire in a week or so

ND: 11/25/2002
EAC#: EAC030435xxxx

I do not know the approval date, but it was mailed on 01/03/2003. I never called the IIO.

Feeling relieved

please make sure ,..u have ur name written on ur mail box..let post official knaow that u live in so and so address and u expect this mail...

in my case...i was relleived in the same manner...but...due to some screw up...post office send the mail back....so i was in the same frustration again....friendly advice...please note that..post delivered all the documents before this screw up...but this one....
 
sorry ...wrong one...guess i was drunk.....sorry.....i presumed ur card is approved and expecting in mail...sorry once again....
 
Anyone get EAD in the mail from VSC in the past 3 weeks?
I see my case is approved, and it says they have "ordered a new card", but nothing in hand yet. Just browsed other cases on the INS Case Status line, and see many other cases with same message. How long does the "ordering of a card process" take?
