surprise ead in mail!!! (renewal)

I dint call IIO regarding EAD.
I was gone to India on AP.
Just got back last thursday.
dont have 45 minutes to hold for IIO.

I have strange situation on my EAD renewal too.
On 11/2002, I received two EAD cards (for myselft and my
spouse).

However, the two photos were printed on wrong cards, i.e.,
photo B was printed on card A and Photo A was printed on
card B. I called VSC and they asked me to send back the original
card and attaching a note explaining what went wrong.

I mailed back the two cards to VSC on 11/15/2001 and am still
waiting for their response. I called IIO yesterday (1/7/2003) and
the officer told me that my file is now being handled by an
officer, and she took my phone number and FedEx tracking
number and said that officer might contact me in a few days.

My question: Is there anyone experienced the similar problem
before?

I also asked my I-485 (December 2002 RD). She told me it will
take another 3-4 months to processing my case.

My I-485 was December 2001 RD, NOT December 2002 RD.
