Hey guys,

Alright so I do have my Interview Notice, it is changed from January 26th to January 22nd. Also, does anyone have any links to find past experences for a Child/Father interview? like I want to be prepaired on what questons they might ask me like what color is my Fridge lol.

Ok I have received a Checklist (like everyone else I think), so I have a few questons.

-"Bring Surporting evidence of your relationship", now the relationship I have with my Stepfather and I well I dont have my name on the Lease, Bank statements, Insurances, rental agreements...etc. The only thing I have is a few pictures of us and my mom, and I have my name on a tax return last year. So what do i do?

Does my Step-father bring his W2's and Tax returns? because we did submit copies when I filed back in June.

Also, Do I bring my X-rays? because it says nothing on there but the doctor I went to, he told me to bring them.

btw the mailing address on the letter spelled my City wrong, its supose to be "Sterling Heights" but I got "ST Heights" is that something I should tell USCIS about?

Oh, how early should I be for my interview...15 mins early?

Whatever your stefather submitted as evidence for the I864 he should take the originals. Also, he should take a recent job letter,2006 tax return (if he can get it done by then),recent and childhood photos of you and your stepfather together at different events(wedding, birthday party, holidays, vacations).
If you could possibly get about 2 people who know you and your stepfather and of your relationship to write letters of how long they knew you both, the extent of their relationship with the both of you and have the letters notarized.Have the persons writing the letters put their information on the leters (name, address, status-resident or citizen, telephone number).
Tell the IO the correct address.

Hope this helps.

Well thank you, yeah my step father owns his own business, so you want him to bring a Bankstatement and his Tax Returns/W2s?

Also, You said I should get 2 people that know me and my step father, could it be a family relative, a friend...? do they have to be American?

The Pictures, I don't have very much, I will try to get in contact with my mom and try to get some pictures.

Anyways I called USCIS Number and they told me that the part that says "evidence of a suporting relationship" is for marriage, it has nothing to do with a Step-Child/Step-Parent relationship.

So really I should bring in everything that I filed (Copies)?

just my 2 cents....I think your strongest evidence of the relationship is the adoptive papers or any official document showing that he is your step father

Might be better if non family members but if not possible get one of your stepfather's family who is legally in the USA to give a letter.

Well I was never adopted by my step-father, also the only surporive evidence I have is a Marriage Licence (between my biological parent and step parent), Pictures..etc.

hmm..I see, I see.

Alright so I have to find two people or is one just fine?

The letter should show
-How long the person knows about my step-father and I
-How he/she knows my step-father and I

thats it?

Also, I called USCIS and the guy told me "Suporting evidence of the relationship" is for Marriages only ...do I listen to them? because I don't trust them alot lol.

Oh and one more thing, What is "All documentation establishing your eligibillty for LPR Status"?
