Surname and given name swapped in H1 VISA Stamp; can I travel?

Hi

In the VISA stamp which I got recently my surname contains the actual name and the given name contains FNU;

Can it be a problem while travelling to US;

My passport and the other stamps contain it correctly and also the notice of action contains the names correctly.

Please advise;

Normally US Consulate/embassy allows you to review visa info and get to their attention discrepancies if any, it is better to contact them and fix it before you fly

Roxianne, My visa stamp had the same issue. when you fill the boarding pass fill it with right info as in your passport. This is a usual thing and you dont need to worry and travel as scheduled.Good Luck.
