I recently got a summons for Sec.: 10-125 Sub.: 2b for "Possessing open Container for alcohol" in NYC. I have been asked to appear in the court.
I spoke to NYPD and they told me that it is a Ordinance and not a Criminal offence.
Does anyone have an idea of what implication it may have on my GC as my company is applying PERM for me or or any of the other documents like H1 Extension in 6th year etc.
Is it better to contest it ?
Is this Serious ?
