VERY VERY URGENT: Suggestions for "Change in Job Title".
Hi all,
Its more than two years now when I filed my I-485.
Now I have a job offer that has almost same job responsibilities as mentioned in my Labor certification but different Job-title.
Job title in new Job offer is "Support Engineer" while in my labor-certification it is "Software engineer". I talked with new offer HR-Dept. to provide me the EVL letter with Labor -certification wording, in case I need that, but they are not ready to do so.
New job offer is really exciting and having very good future prospective in long term.
As I guess, its not too many days (or months) when USCIS would opened my file for final approval, I am finding myself in hard situation in going ahead for changing and accepting new job offer. Earlier also I had to ignore very good offers thinking and counting days for my approval.
So I would like to have comments/Advises/Suggetions from you guys both in pros and cons!
Also please comment if anyone of you has taken such initiative and was successfully got GC approval.
