Suggestions on 485 please?

Hello group, :)

Here are a few details about my case. Based on the current Vermont 485 dates (March 25-2004) my 485 is delayed by 6 months because my 485 is applied in Aug-2003. Any recommendations/ suggestions on what to do next are highly appreciated. :confused:
  1. ND of I 485 --- August 2003
  2. I140 approved/
  3. FP Date Feb 2005
  4. Any RFE -- NO
  5. Priority Date -- 10/10/2001
  6. 485 is still pending.

Please advice on what I can do next.:confused: :confused:

My notice date is also aug 2003. I am on the same boat. I had one REF because the medical report was not signed and I am not from India or China.

So have you guys taken any actions?

Seems like the above two responders are in the same shoe, so have you guys taken any actions to research the delay? What do your attorneys and friends suggest?
 
I have a ND July 15, 2003. I-140 approved in Aug 2004. Contacted the FBI, they said the name check is pending and they cant do anything. Contacted the senator and got the same response that security clearance is pending. Will take atleast 60 more days (which is not true, because FBI also, like USCIS works stangely, 21 months for one name check?

Just sent a letter again to FBI, lets see

Those of you who are waiting for long time, does your online status say that 'FP results received and processing resumed' or 'I-485 application recieved blah blah...'? Does FP results received not mean that the name check is cleared?

Since, you gave FP in Feb '05, you may get approval any time
unless struck in the name check.

It was still the same until a week ago but about a month ago I had initiated an inquiry which made the LUD change now
