suggestions for Namecheck clearance

Hi Gurus
Even though my dates have been current(I485,Labor) from past couple of months and didn't see any update on my case.When ever I call NSC customer service they have been saying it's in name check.I am from Detroit don't know how to approach to Senator or Congress man office.How to find to whom have to send the letters?Is there any sample letters to send to congressman and senator?

To find your congressman, you can do a Google search. I typed in Congressman and then my zip code. It brought me to his homepage and then I just emailed my issue to him directly. I don't have a form letter, I just told him what my situation was. Maybe someone else can advise you about that.
