Suggestion from Jim regarding reciept date (CSC)

Jim,
    My lawyer has applied for my 485 in the first week of Dec 01 and we still haven\'t recieved any reciept.
 Is it pretty normal or there is something to worry about?
 Can we call the INS and ask about this?
 Thanks in advance.
 
Was the I-485 submitted via courier?

As long as you can prove receipt by INS I wouldn\'t worry about it. This seems like a long time though.
