Today I called VSC and representative transfer my phone call to the immigration office because
I asked more details about my case.
First question she asked me why you called us? Why your phone call transfer to me? After long discussion she open my case and told me that according to FBI Background check they wanted to take my interview. so they will inform me interview date later ? Such a bad day.
After too much waiting now they want my interview?
I don't have any criminal record.
Why they want my interview ?
I have already too much tense and now they want to schedule interivew?
I am not worry about interview but main things......If they transfer my case to new york then
In NY it takes so many months to schedule interview.

Is it possible from VSC they directly send me interview letter OR they will first transfer and then interview ? [PLEASE COMMENT HERE....]
One more thing....Yesterday On 2/7/05 I got email from FBI that my "name check" is completed 1 year back.

She didn't talk about transfer of my case.

Thanks for reading my post and your valuable comment.

nycindia,
I totally understand your frustration, but just by calling VSC and talking to the Representative will only irritate the reps as they maintain the calling record and it looks like the IIO got irritated too as they all know that it is there fault not working on your case as the processing time is now Oct 2003, so in order to make some good excuse, she might be transferring your case to local office.

Sometimes, this is better than just sitting on the IIO's desk and pilling dust atleast you know that you will be called sometime soon. I would probably recommend you to write a detailed letter to VSC director explaining your situation and try to fax him the FBI response and hopefully that might help to approve your case than transferring it to local office. So take some time and draft a one or two page letter and fax it soon. Good Luck!

Hi nycindia:

It's my thought: I don't think USCIS will transfer the cases to local office out of personal anger. They would say because of following reasons:
1) Since you make continuous calls, they might have told "transfer reasons" in order not to make calls for some more days
2) USCIS have really marked to transfer your case to local office (no body know the reason).

My thought is to give some days gap, and see. I can really understand your current state of mind. We cannot do anything except to wait for our approval.

I think officer was having a bad day. You should have called after 2/11. I don't see this getting transferred just because she was angry.

One doesn't need to have criminal background for transfer. Transfer may happen for many reasons. I don't remember anyone going to Vermont ( VSC ) for an interview..

Thanks guru

Thanks for your comment and I hope they don't transfer my case otherwise life will be miserable.

If they arrange interview in my case then all my dependent case will also interview?
