Recently (Dec 3) a person reported walking into Seattle office to try his luck for taking oath earlier so he did not need to reschedule his trip. He was accepted and took the oath one week earlier than scheduled. I suggested him post the experience, but seemed he was too busy to do so. I am doing that for him to let people know that you may be allowed to take oath earlier if there is an emergency situation.
Some people posted their dilemma in this forum debating whether they should postpone scheduled out-of-town activities for the oath, but seemed no body had tried the luck. Anyway, this was a successful story and hope it helps.
