I just wanted to give some feedback to the forum. My background : MS in US working for 2 years as a consultant and 1st time stamping. I was just asked 4 questions :
1. What do you do for your company?
2. Why did you decide to work for this company?
3. Can I see your employment letter?
4. (while I was taking out the employment letter, based on my answer to the 2nd question...) And I believe you graduated?
Then couple of seconds later she said she is giving me visa. I asked her if I have to pay any fees she said NO. Everything was over in less than 2 minutes and I was really nervous and I didnot answer any questions confidently. Infact, I didn't myself know what I was talking, it was combination of predetermined words in my mind, broken english, super thick accent and of course shitting in my pants.
The reason I was so tense was I know few people struck in Canada and Mexico and I was more worried about 'what-if' than all the things favoring me. If you have MS in US and no issues with status it should be a cake-walk. I could hear the questions to other people and VO's treat MS graduates very differently. Try to mention your MS degree in some part of your answer and let them ask you more about your MS which is much easier to answer than about relating to work.
Good luck and the Blonde in window #4 is super HOT!
