Asalam-0-Alekum,
Just want to share my H1B stamping Experience with US consulate montreal on 2nd August 2006. Little background , i came in US as a visitor in 1999 then changed my Status from B1 to F1 in 2001 after that I Did Masters from Arkansas and Finally F1 to H1 . Been working with the consulting company from almost a year . In US consulate the officer was very polite as a matter of fact she just asked very basic questions like how long ive been living in US ? how many times did i travel outside US during my F1 , then she asked for my all paper work , what i am working as with company , whats the current project and then letter from the current project manager stating duration of the project . that all and then later got finger printed and good to pickup Passport next day at 3 pm .
. allhumdullillah. if any one want some more information you can get me at y_riaz at hotmail.com
Take care
