Hi Guys,
I had my interview on the 12th of November in Lagos.It was a very good day for me.I got to the embassy at about 5am,at 7am,we were all called to que up infront of the embassy.I was given the number DV 7.I went in to take a sit.After 30mins,i was called to a window to submitt all my documents and instructed to proceed to the waiting area.Heres a list of the documents i went to the embassy with
NPC birth certificate
Police clearance certificate,
Medicals,
Computer print out of my WAEC result + scratch card.
After about 2hrs,i was called to window 12 for the real interview.
CO: good morning
Me: good morning
Co: Raise your right hand and attest .............
Me: blah blah blah
took my fingerprints........
Co: you are aware you are here cos you won the dv lottery,this does not guarantee you a visa.
Me: Yes
CO: What is your name?
Me: blaah blaah blaah
Co: whats ur date of birth?
me: blah blah
co: whats your place of birth?
Me: blah blah
co: are you married?
Me: no,im single
co: do u have any child ?
me: no
co: did u attend secondary school?
me: yes
co: whats the name of ur secondary school and what year did u finnish
me: bllah blah blah,1998.
co: is it a private school or a govt owned school
me: govt owned
co: howmany subjects did u sit for in ur waec
me : 8
co.. whats was ur favourite subject?
me...biology
co.. tell me about ur biology exam
me.. we did practicals, 60 objective questions to answer all,and 5 theory questions to answer 4
co.. good,what was your worse subject?
me.. mathematics
co.. why
me..im not good with numbers
co.. give me the scratch card
me ok ( gave him the scratch card and he verified my result online )
co.. just a sec ( he stared typing on him computer )
he left and went to the printer,and came back with a green letter.
co.. congratulations...u are qualified for the visa.come back on wednesday 19th nov to pickup your passport.Please come with this letter.

I went back on wednesday to pickup my visa.It was the Lords doing..I pray those of you waiting for your interview will have good stories to tell us.Put all your trust in God and he will surely make it happen !
