Hi all

I had a successful stamping in tijuana. Just wanted to share some info with you all.

I got my Mexican visa for 134$. But its a waste. First thing, no soul asks for a visa. If required, please get a tourist visa for 36$. In that case, do not tell the visa officer in Mexican consulate that you are going to the US Consulate.

I just followed the info thats on this forum.

8 am I crossed the border with a couple of other people.
Took a cab to Banamex bank, reached there by 8:35 or so. 3 of us paid 10$.
Bank opened at 9:00.
We were at the consulate at 9:15.
My appt was at 10:00am. But there was only 1 queue. so it didnt matter at all.
Waited for more than an hour.
Went inside the consulate, waited again.
Gave the fingerprints and fotos. should be 11am
Waited again.
Was called for interview at 1:30 or so. There was another queue then.
Got over by 2:00pm.

The consular offficer asked for my I 797, Offer letter, pay stubs, I129. Few questions on my nature of work and company details, my degree etc. It went for 5-10 min. He said that my visa was approved and asked to collect the PP at 3pm. We did so.
Back to collect our new I 94, there was along queue. Its given at a place on the right hand side closer to the entrance to US. Paid 6$, got the I94, returned the old one and entered US again. All this got over by 6:30 pm.

Thanks

Incase any of you have your degree in Bio ***, please rethink to do the stamping in Tijuana.
