successful H1 stamping from chennai

I'vebeen to the U.S on H1b from 1997-2001.
Went for H1B stamping chennain on dec 10th.
Everyone else's token number was called. I had to wait patiently for my turn.
finally when it came, officer only had few questions

1) what kind of company is this 'new' company?
2) How long have u been in india?
3) For how long have u been with this 'new' company?
4) what kind of education ?

Got my passport on dec 12 by courier.
 
I submitted W2s only. I29,LCA were not listed in the list of required docus and they did not ask for it too.

Thanks for the reply. Did you have lower pay in any of the years since 1997(bench time).

I bad bench time for nearly 2 months in 1997.
But I did not submit W2s for 1998 coz I had lost them somewhere .
