Hi Guys,
Just got back from Toronto with successfully h1 stamping for me and my wife on the 11/9/2005.
I came here on b1/b2 2 years ago and got an h1 after a few months, this was my first stamping and travel outside US. Was very worried and scared about the stamping. Consulted 3 lawyers and all them suggested that it was a risk and chances were less. Searched alot of forums, but only got a couple of successful stamping exp. of such cases.
Anyway, I was prepared for the worst and went ahead and took the risk. Both me and my wife went to the consulate together even though we had separate day appointments. We were called for the interview together, she took our finger prints and I was sure that it is done. To my surprise she didnt ask me any questions but she asked a few questions to my wife like, what is your profile ? what is your qualifications ? How many employees does the company have and that was it. It seemed that she was just doing a formality. She asked us to pay the reciprocity fees and we got the passports next day.
So thats my exp, any questions are welcome. I am sure this helps the other guys with similar situation.
