Hello Guys,
I finished my finger printing successfully yesterday.
RD - Jan 30 2003.
ND- May 9 2003.
FP Date - June 17th 2003.
 
Hi Aravind,
what are all the documents did u take with you?
Did u take Passport, EAD, Driving License.

During FP, did they ask you for all docs. Or just any one of the document from above.

The FP notice would clearly specify the documents you need to have. Its the notice and a photo-ID (driver's license) that are usually needed.

I took Passport with me. I had DL and EAD. I showed DL and EAD to the officer. THe officer did not any questions or any documents.

Finger Printing success

My wife and I did my finger printing yesterday, June 19,O3. It was successful. We got our appointment notice approx. six months after we filed I485.

The officer was very helpful. However, he wanted to see our recent I-94, H1-B approval, my wife's H4-B approval ,and our driver's licensce and passport. Once he found everything was in oder, he was very friendly. He helped me and my wife in the finger printing-rolling the fingers side ways with the exact amount of pressure. He took two finger printing cards, for each of us. Gave us an acknowledgement saying that he took the test. He said that in case INS sends you a letter that you didn't do the finger printing, you can show this as proof. It all went well.:)

Let's hope we don't have to redo the FP

My wife and I have our appt for FP the first week of July.

Let's pray we get the approval before 15 months pass by. I know for the looks of it, it is impossible.
