It was a smooth. The Indian guy at the US consulate is fantastic. No questions asked. Only asked
1. BC.
2. PCC for each country stayed beyond 6 months.
3. Employee letter.
4. Forms.

Do we need both, PCC - from RPO and Consulate General of India - NY?
How did you pay the fee in USD / bank draft ..?

Only one PCC is enough. Do not worry , It is a peice of cake for CP interview. Whatever mode you want you can pay .
CASH($$)/DD(Rs)/Offical Checks($$ from US bank)/Certified Check($$US bank).

PCC from Indian embassy in US..

and if you dont have time, please pay US dollars in cash 265 + 60. Otherwise, please get a dd for the equivalent amount.

Medical and PCC ke liye read immihelp

if ur a fem or married and have time in Delhi, go to Dr Dawesar at Bhikaji, theres a lady doc there but they take 2 days to give the results,
else Dr jain at south ex, gives results the same day.
Photos at either Kumar studios at south ex II or the Rangoon or other shop at Janpath.
except for kumar, everyone else can give photos immidiately.
