I will like to thank all those who put their post out there for some of us to gain experience and prepared well.Special thanks to LucyMo who responded to every question I posted.To all members, I say thanks.

I had my CP interview in London and was successful.Visa is recieved and will be travelling later.The interview itself was not much of a hussle though I was quite nervous.I was asked question with regards to my school project title which I answered to the officer's satisfaction.

I come from a west African country and studying in the UK for my second degree.

My advice to all those who are about to go for their interviews is to prepare well as the time is short .

I will try and answer any dv related question to the best of my knowlegde.

After your interview, did they issue you with a sticker stub for your passport and asked you to return on day X to pick up the visa? If so, how many days after your interview did you get your visa exactly? Along with the visa was there also a yellow envelope (sealed) that they gave you?

Thanks and congratulations. I also had my CP and am waiting for the visa right now - they have the passport. They were supposed to give it back on Sunday but they called me and asked me about my July travel itinerary and then said they will call me Sunday to let me know when I can come again. I dont know why they asked me about last month's travel but I did travel quite a bit. I was already a F1 (Student) in the US and came overseas for my CP interview.
 
Thanks.Actually though I had my medicals before the interview the results was not at the emdassy at the time of interview. This delayed the process through no fault of mine.It took exactly four weeks before the visa was obtained.

You pay for a courier services located within the embassy to collect or return documents to and from the embassy.This is to say you dont go there physically to collect your visa.This may be due to security reasons.
 
Congratulations! dakomama. How long did it take to get your passport after you sent to the Embassy by SMS?

Thanks, I went there personally for the interview and was asked to pay for sms for my visa to be delivered at a later date. My medical results delayed that was why mine took 4 wks to get my passport.Sms is really fast .They delivered it within 24 hours of reciept.
