Thanks to everybody in this forum for all the help.

Did Medical at Hinduja on 20th March. Got 2 shots.

Got photos done at My Own Studio before picking up the reports from Hinduja.

Picked up the photos after 2 days. (They can give you the photos the next day).

Went for the interview on 28th.
. Reached consulate at 9:00 am.
. Entered at 9:15 am.
. Was called for the documents at 11:45 am.
  .. Following documents were asked for.
  ... Employment Letter.
  ... Birth Certificate and Translations (for me, wife and son).
  ... Police Clearance (for me and wife).
  ... Affidavit of Support (for wife).
  ... OF-230 part I, II and 9003. Was asked to put Indian addr in part I.
  ... Medical Reports
. Was called for interview at 2:15 pm. No Questions asked.
. Collected the passport at 4:45 pm.

POE at Boston on 8th April.
. Went in the Blue Lane.
. Was taken to the different immigration section and waited.
. Called for fingure prints and signatures.
. Picked up the luggage and came home.

Very simple end for 2 years of tensions.

I would be very happy if I can answer or help somebody.

Congratulation.
Could you pls tell me how and where did you translate your BC?
Also could you pls tell me when and how did you take the medical appointment and pls let me know about your medical.

About your POlice certificate

Please let me know that from where you have got the police certificate. Did you take it from US or Did you take it in India.
 
Question about Appointment Letter

Congrats! Enjoy your post GC life. I have a question about appointment letter. I have interview date in May in Mumbai and received packet 4 at my Indian address. The appointment letter is not signed. Is this normal. Did you also receive similar letter? Also did you recieve a checklist of documents you are required to produce at the time of interview.

My father had got the translation done from a local court. If you need more information then I can ask him and get back to you. I know for sure that it took 25 days.

For the medical also I had asked my father to book the appointment. I had given him the BMB number and the approx date for the medical.

I had applied for the PCC in CGNY on Jan 29th. My brother followed up with Mumbai RPO several times. Finally I got my PCC from CGNY on March 8th.

Yes, I got similar appointment letter and the checklist. At the interview they did not ask for any documents outside that checklist.

I have couple of questions:
Do you know how Breach candy is for medicals? I have interview in May. Am trying to decide where to get medicals done.
Also, is it possible to get vaccinations done in the US? or will you have to take them again in India?
