At last!!! our CP has been done successfully, Guys if you need any info I am happy to help.. Thanx for this forum everything was done as mentioned by previous CP\'ers.
only advice is if your company name has been changed carry the company name changed documents(Notarized).

Can you please be more specific, what do you mean by
name change documents?? I am in a similar situation.
 
Interview Details

Started from US on 16 Jan reached Chennai on 18 Jan took a room at Hotel Rajadhani in Pursawalakam.
went to Konica labs the same day and took pics. He gave in 1 hour.
19 Jan went to Lister Labs and done our medicals tests and X-rays.
20 Jan went to Dr Vijay Laxmi and done our medicals. I took only one shot but for my wife she gave chicken pox shots too.
21 Jan Sun done some shopping
22 Jan called embassy and took DD from SBI bank.
23 Jan went to Embassy around 7:00 am, they allowed us inside around 7:30am. Keep your appointment letter and Passport outside ...at every step you have to show it and no bags allowed take a file.
Keep everything in the order told by previous Cp\'ers.
we were second in the line. Security guy came and told us to go to counter no 6 we went and handed our documents to the man.
security guy told us to wait out side. after an hour a women came and took oath that all the information provided by us is true. that\'s all we never saw an American again..
after 30 mins we heard names calling in micro phone it was not clear but managed to hear our name and went inside.

Questions she asked...

1) Which company you are working for
my wife: XYZ company

Since my wife came on dependent and done her Green card..
2) Did you went on H4
A)Yes

3) She asked me ....your company did not apply for GC(I don\'t know why she asked that)
A) I said NO

4) In your H1 it says X company and in your labor it says Y company?
A) My wife ...company name has been changes ..she asked for name changed documents..luckily we had the documents we gave her that.
that\'s all she told us to go and pay the fees..
Next day we got our papers by blue dart..
that was really cool.. I am glad we have gone for CP.

Came to US done our finger prints that\'s all..

If the company name has been changed the company HR will give a document saying by all the shared holders meeting it has been resolved that X company name has been changed to Y company effective from xyz date and it should be notarized.

Is this letter from HR diffrent from the EMp letter given by HR?
My EMp letter says all about the name change, apart from the regular
stuff. ANd anyhow i am going to notarize this emp letter.
Is this sufficient or did you have to take any other document like
S-4 etc. and any press relaese or news artclies.
 
I think that is enough..

The lady asked for the document but did not even bother to read it.
Our HR gave just a typing letter saying the company name has been changed.
but to be more safe side pl check with your attorney..
