Had a very smooth CP at the Mumbai consualte on August 29th. Reached the consulate at 9 and was out by 11. No questions asked.

The experience was as described by previous CPers. A few things I wanted to point out:

-- I was on 7th year H1 and did not have the H1 stamp in the passport. This was not an issue. They just looked at the H1 approval notice

-- No local PCC was asked for

-- I was not working for my sponsoring employer for about a year in between. I started the GC process, then joined a start-up, and then came back to work for the sponsoring employer. This did not cause any problems during the interview.

I'll be glad to answer any questions. The details about when the case was created by NVC, packet 3 sent etc. are in cptracker.com

Congragulations! have a great and enjoyable trip in India.
