Hello everybody,
I just received my passports back from the consulate. My POE will be chicago. I wish to thank everybody in theis forum for all the help. It has been invaluble. Here are a few tips that I found out on what the Officials look for.
1. If all the ducoments you submitted are OK.
2. If you are lying about something.
The officer who went through my documents was very friendly. Since I live in memphis, we exchanged a few jokes about the south. But he also was asking about my salary, how long I lived in Memphis etc. I think, when you are at the consular office, it is more of a formality than anything, provided your papers are perfect. Again, I claim to be no expert and am reflecting views from my experiences. Again thanks to this forum and I wish the very best for all future CP'ers on successful processing so that you can enjoy this wonderful country.
