My interview date was April 26, 2005. It went well. Just got back and got stamped on the passport, custom officer told me I should get my real card in 3-6 months.

Docs that they took on the interview day:
-Photographs (regular passport pic, not the 3/4 with right ear profile pic)
-Birth Cert (me and my wife) with notarized translation
-Passport
-Marriage cert
-Police clearance
-Employer letter (EB2)
Thats all, no tax forms, no I-134 (This is EB2 and its at KUL, Malaysia, maybe different from your consulate)

After docs submitted, we were asked to come back 1:30PM for interview:
I am EB2, and consular asked :
-Asked me if I ever been to the USA(I thought that was a weird one)
-What company you working?
-For how long?
-How you met your wife?

Since I have been in the US for 10 yrs, the only visa I had was F1, then the rest was adjustment of status. The consular asked me to prove my status and fortunately I brought my H1B approvals, because "Packet IV" never asked for that. Then he said everything was in order and congratulated me. He asked me to pick up the passport the next day. All went well. Its been 6years of waiting, its finally over.

Thanks for the info on this forum and I wish you all well.

Medical reports

One of the item that they took was the sealed medical reports. Forgot to mention in the previous post ;)

Spikey: congratulations!

Interesting to read of experiences outside India ... since this tends to be a generally India-dominated forum. :)

Best wishes.

Hi, thanks for your post on your experience at KL consulate. i just submitted Packet 3 to NVC last week under EB3.

A couple questions:
- How long did it take for you to get your interview in KL?
- How long did it take for you to get the police clearance forms from malaysia? I submitted the forms directly to Putrajaya instead of via U.S. consulate.
- How much in advance did you learn about your interview date?

thanks!
