So i had my interview on June 26th, and was as expected (described by others). All my papers were in order. The indian guy was rather nice/polite, and i handed the papers to him when i was called. I was actually expecting him to keep the photocopies, and return the originals, but the opposite happened.
The interview with the american consular went fine. She looked through the papers, asked a few questions. A question she asked me is why do i not try to find a job in India? and when i was studying in the US. did i have immigration intents at that time... Though the questions have straightforward answers when one has time to think about them, at the interview they caught me by surprise.
anyways, the rest went fine. my case got approved, and i was called back at 5pm. to pick up my papers. At the POE, no questions were asked, just fingerprinting/signing.
Was told to expect the card in 3-6 months.
