We had a successful CP at Chennai at March 22. As mentioned by others, there were no questions asked. Here is some of our experience:
**We had not received our Pkt 4 at our local address inspite of mentioning it to the consulate. So we carried the web printout to Lister, Dr. V as well as the consulate.
** We had arranged the docs as per srifx list. We were given check list to arrange docs as soon as we entered the consulate. Only addition to the list was PCC which has to be included last. Also 2 copies of marriage certificates were asked.
** Only the latest tax return(2000/2001) was asked for.
** If you got a new passport, but have not mentioned it in Pkt3, you just have to carry both the old and new passports together. No question is asked.
** Also we carried latest h1 copies as our passports were not stamped with the latest h1 visa. The consular officer asked only for the copies.
