Substitue Labor Documents

My lawyer says he needs the W2's of the person for whom the labor was approved for originally.

Do you know if this is a must have document? Has anbody got thier I-140's approved without it?

My company can arrange for but it will take time 7-10 buisness days, I have to file quickly as the 6 years on my H1 expire on Feb 20th.

I think you can an temporary EAD if your application has been pending for 90 days. If so does that mean I should apply before Nov 22 (90 days before Feb 20) do I need to keep a few buffer days?

So you suggest I wait. I would rather file quickly whats the risk benefit analysis?

Even though I will be using a susbtitue labor, can I get a 7th year extension? I though it was only if you had a labor pending for more than a year.
