We are coming on F4 visa.
My kid's final exam is due in May 2026 and we are planning to immigrate to USA in March-2026. Before the actual receipt of the greencard, can the kid go back to the home country to take an exam?

She will be back in 1 or 2 months, depending on getting a physical greencard that we will send back home so she can come without any issue.

Yes. Your immigrant visa is stamped (“endorsed”) on entry to the US, and then it converts to a temporary green card for one year from that date. She can use that to re-enter - she doesn’t need a physical green card.
