I have since many postings on this fourm for those with a receipt date of 2003 who have also received RFE got approved.

My RD date is also 2003 and the NSC received my RFE request on the 04/04/2006. My LUD have changed several times (04/04,05,06,08/2006) since I submited my RFE. I saw many people on this forum received thier approval shortly after RFE and I am still waiting for my approval. At first, I was very excited. Now, I am so disappointed and I feel sad. Any advise you can give me. Am I being unrealistic.?

What was your RFE about? If the RFE was simple as missing signature, approval is easy but it really depends on your RFE.

Also there is no "right" time and now that you have gotten a RFE, it means an Officer has opened your case and looked at it. WHen he/she gets a chance, they will review your RFE and approve you.

So just chill, your wait time is considerably less than others who have waited 5-6 years...You should feel lucky to get approved this year. So y the sad face?? Enjoy life man!

wantmygcnow,

The NSC asked me to submit copies of my passport, I-94s, RTDs, and a letter to include a list of dates and countries I have visited, and the purpose of my trips since I was granted asylum.

Although I have just been granted asylum for only 4 years, I have been in the US for 10 years this August. I came here in Oct 1996. I know people like tell other people to relax. I think it is easy say than done.
