submitted package 3, what docs and when can I expect?

Hi all,
I submitted my package 3 to my lawyer on 10th of this month. I was wondering how much time will it take for the interview(3 months?) and also, I just want to know, with what all documents should I be ready with?

You can expect an Interview in 3 to 4 months. What consulate you belongs to?

Here is the process:

Lawyer sends the package 3 to NVC. NVC will do review of your case. It may take upto 8 weeks. But genrally it takes 10 days to 2 weeks if every thing is fine. AFter NVC completes review, it prepares the documents to send to consulate. Within a week after completing case, it sends them to consulate. You can track the statuses by calling NVC AVM (1 603 334 0700).

Once consulate receives the case, it takes approximately 2 and half to 3 months for interview. One month before interview, consulate sends you the packet 4.

I totally concur with cpzinga that it will easily take about 4 months to get your interview (about 2 weeks for nvc to receive your case, 4-6 weeks to review, 2 weeks to mail to consulate = 8-10 weeks total). And from then on another 2.5 months to get the interview.
