My employer filed I140 for me using a substitute labor two weeks ago. He says he has not received the receipt notice yet and the check sent with I140 is also not deposited. According to him, since this is substitute labor, INS will verify my experience with that mentioned in the LC before they send receipt date.
Is this true?
For most cases I saw on this forum, receipt notice was received with in two weeks. It is possible that my employer is giving me wrong information or that he has not filed for my I140 at all.
Please let me know if anyone knows the answers to above or if there is any way to find out if my I140 is actually filed?
I140 is filed in TSC.
