I'm a USC, filing AOS for my wife (B2 visitor from Mexico--entered March 31 of this year), and I need some help filling out the forms.
I-485
Part 1
What is address- C/O?
"Current USCIS Status"
Do they want "B2" or would it just be "visitor?" (should it be written same as Part 3 where it asks "in what status did you last enter?")
Part 3
On what part of the B1/B2 visa does the visa number appear?
I-130
Addresses
C 21--They don't list this option, but is it possible to answer "present" like on the G-325A?
C 22--"Your relative is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status to that of a lawful permanent resident at the USCIS office in:" What city/state--doesn't Chicago handle all the applications, or only receive them then send them somewhere else?
I-131
Part 1
1. Not everyone has an A#, right? Do I write "N/A" or "None?"
3. Class of Admission
B2, B1 or something else?
Part 3
1. Date of Intended Departure
What's the best thing to put here when there is no specific planned date?
Part 7 (the "separate page" requirement)
I'm assuming the concurrently filed I-145 and I-130 meet this requirement?
I-765
10. Asks for an A-number OR I-94 number. I'll put a number there, but will I also have to specify which of those it is?
I-864
Part 7 Do I need to fill out this part if there is a co-sponsor?
G-325A
one for USC, one for spouse, but I've also read "one copy goes with I-130, the other goes with I-485."
Should I just submit all copies (as the form says), with a full set for the petitioner, and another full set for the immigrant?
G-325A expires 5/31. That's the date I was planning to file. New form comes out June 1, I guess. Is the "new version" available anywhere, or will it be, before the 31st?
And a couple of loose questions:
Is there a rule of thumb on all these forms for people who use two last names, no hypen?
My wife has no middle name. Do I leave "Full Middle Name" blank, or do they prefer a "None?"
Thanks a whole lot.
