studying in USA...how?

I am on pending AOS status that my parents applied for me....& currently studying in the US. If GC application is denied what/how are my chances to continue my remaining years of university study?I have heard that it is almost imposible to get a F1 visa after you have shown intent of living in the US?
What is my best bet.....should i drop GC & aply for F1 or can i do tht once gc is denied..i am soooo confused...pls help..any advice is welcome !!! THANK YOU

why i am assuming the gc may get denied is that my dad was laid off before the 180 day period of filing the I-485; so the employer is trying to withdraw it.

If he does & gc is denied & i am now half way through uni... i may have to drop out of schooll as i will have no legal status in the US...

which i dun want to..i want to atleast complete my studies here...

I KNOW LIFE ISN'T FAIR....i feel tht now....i am so attached to this place tht tranfering,,out to another place would be hard....though not impossible....lets see wht i can do....may God bless me ;-)...& thnx a lot man..for ur reply....it helped my thinking further...peace
