Studying in Canada after obtaining a green card?

Hi, So i'm a student in the US, and got into a few Canadian schools. I have received my green card and am also a Canadian Citizen w/ a Canadian passport. My question is: If I plan on going to school in Canada for the year (8-9 months) per year, and spending the summer in the USA, do i need to get a re-entry permit? I may be able to come for 2 weeks during the winter as well.

How many years will you be studying? If it's 2 years or less, and you will spend at least 3 months each year in the US, you should be OK without a reentry permit. But if you're going to keep doing this for 3 or more years, it is advisable to get a reentry permit to reduce the chances of hassles at the border.

I'll be studying for 4 years, but spend about 4 months a year in the US.
