My timeline (I am in Queens, New York):
PD: 03/27/2003
FD: 05/08/2003
Case Status Online Disappearance: 01/31/2004
Interview Letter Received: 02/09/2004
Interview (at Garden City): 05/20/2004
Oath: ?
One of the things in my application is that I studied abroad from June 1995 to Feb 1999...
I made sure that I had a re-entry permit until 1997 and none of my trips after that were for more than 6 months...also, ever since I moved back to New York (in Feb 1999), I have not taken any trips....
Couple of questions:
1) Will the interviewing officer "frown" upon me having studied abroad? Will I have to justify why I did it instead of attending an American college?
2) Would it help (as proof) to take my college transcripts from abroad to the interview?
Thanks!
