Stuck in Namecheck, planning to check senator

All,
This is my first posting though I have been the silent spectator of the forum for a long time.
My case is stuck in FBI name check. I have tried the local congressman.. no use. Sent FOPIA request--- No records found. Wrote letters to FBI, e-mailed, faxed ...no use.
Now I would like to contact the senator and see if he can help.
1. Do you think senetor is of any help?
2. I live in TN, whom should I contact Senator Alexandar or Senator First? Has anyone got a positive response from either of the senators?
Please let me know.

Senators can be of GREAT help if they choose to assist you. Each service center has a congressional office from which Senators can get inside information about any case they want. I received some great help with my FBI name check through both my Senators.
 
I do NOT live in TN. Go on the Congress website, or even better google the names of your Congressmen and get to their websites. From there they have forms you complete to get in touch with them. Quick and simple. Last, hope for the best that they reply and want to assist.
