STUCK in name check!

Well, had the FP done two months ago, and the case status remains in the "initial review". I live close to the USCIS field office, so made an infopass appointment yesterday. Was told that the name check result had NOT yet come back, so basically got stuck in the name check for TWO months already, that's the worst nightmare!

What can I do? Anyone?

Wait till your processing time is more then 6 month, then start to make inquiry, ask for senator and congressman help. I know, it's frustrating but it's normal for USCIS to process some cases super fast and some very slow.
